Their focus on modern conveniences allowed the partnership with SPP and GigaMonster to deliver unique experiences for both property management and Heron residents. GigaMonster created an easy-to-use portal for residents to connect all their devices directly to their personal VLAN bypassing the need for a technician’s assistance to activate their Internet. The portal was designed to give residents the option to add devices, monitor their device connections, check bandwidth usage, and sign up for DIRECTV. Residents also had the option to upgrade from 150 MBPS to 1 GIG service that would allow them to stay fully connected throughout the community. Keeping the property employees in mind, GMN created a Business Network VLAN that allowed property team members to directly connect their work devices.
Entertainment options were also top priority during the launch of Heron. Residence have the choice to stream DIRECTV on any devices through the DIRECTV Everywhere app, including 1 year of the NFL Sunday ticket, whole home DVR and on demand services free with their bulk subscription. GigaMonster created a tile in the portal for residents to sign up for their DIRECTV service. GigaMonster was on-site to provide a white glove option for those residents requesting a professional installation. GMN ensured COVID-19 safeguards were strictly adhered to. For those residents requesting extra precaution, GMN placed DIRECTV equipment in the IDF closet for each apartment, including a self-install flyer giving step-by-step instructions on how to install DIRECTV for residents to add equipment without needing a technician.
